Celebrity Solstice Deck-by-Deck Guide: A Practical Navigation Guide
Learn Celebrity Solstice by the two public elevator banks and the venues you expect to repeat, then use the deck numbers to shorten those journeys.
The renewed layout puts new entertainment low on the ship, accommodation through the middle, and separate public and private outdoor areas at the top.
Short version
Use the forward bank for the theater, spa, Solarium, Sky Lounge, Camp at Sea, and forward Retreat Sundeck; use the aft bank for the main restaurant, specialty dining, Oceanview Café, and Sunset Park.
Start with forward and aft, then choose the deck
Choose the forward elevator bank for the theater, spa, Solarium and Sky Lounge, and the aft bank for Grand Epernay, Oceanview Café and Sunset Park. Make that choice before going up, because the separate forward and aft areas at the top do not share one continuous public corridor.
Keep the current deck plan saved on your phone with the profile for your sailing date selected. Keep the venue name and deck handy, then use the stairwell maps if a sign points you along an unfamiliar route.

Deck 2: medical access and the posted arrival route
The Medical Facility is near the aft access area on Deck 2, alongside operational spaces. Follow the onboard medical directions when you need assistance, and contact the ship’s emergency service immediately for an urgent problem rather than trying to navigate from a saved diagram.
For ports, use the gangway and meeting point announced for that day, since operational access can change with the terminal and conditions. A medical or service level on the plan does not establish a fixed guest exit for every stop.

Deck 3: guest help, the foyer, and lower dining
Guest Relations and Passport Bar sit around the Grand Foyer, giving you a recognizable place to sort out an account, ask for help, or meet a companion. The theater is forward, while Grand Epernay’s lower restaurant level and Luminae occupy the aft dining area.
Use the aft bank when heading to those restaurants from your cabin, and the forward route for a theater visit. Luminae is an eligible Retreat dining benefit, so keep Grand Epernay as the ordinary main-restaurant destination when your booking does not include that access.

Deck 4: the new games and piano circuit
The Parlor is on the port side near the forward bank, while Boulevard Lounge and its nearby bar are on the starboard side. Put them together for a games stop and a dueling-piano evening, then choose the actual performance time rather than expecting every venue to offer the same program continuously.
Farther aft, the casino, shops, Celebrity Lounge, Martini Bar, and Cellar Masters lead toward Grand Epernay’s upper level. Use our activities guide to choose a main evening destination before filling the gaps with nearby bars or games.
Deck 5: cafés first, specialty restaurants aft
Café al Bacio sits on the starboard side near the aft bank, opposite the port-side Sushi on Five area. Meet here for an included pastry before dinner, and check the specialty coffee or tea charge against your package before ordering.
Continue aft toward Ensemble Lounge and the exclusive Retreat Lounge, with Murano, Blu, Fine Cut Steakhouse, and Trattoria Rossa in the aft restaurant complex. Our dining guide explains which meals are included, paid, or restricted by your room benefits, so a short route does not become an unexpected bill.
Deck 6: veranda accommodation above public venues
Deck 6 contains the first broad run of veranda rooms, with lifeboats and structure affecting some side outlooks. Check the exact obstruction description and a room-specific photograph before using a category image to decide whether a discounted balcony gives you the view you want.
The space below changes along the ship between theater, lounges, restaurants, and working areas. For an early bedtime, compare a selected room with accommodation underneath, then use our cabin cautions to weigh the particular public neighbor against the offered fare.
Deck 7: wake-facing rooms with accommodation around them
Deck 7 is primarily accommodation, including forward Horizon Suites and stern Sunset Verandas. Room 7317 faces the wake, with cabins above and below, which makes it a concrete comparison for travelers who expect to spend regular time watching the stern from their room.
Keep the long forward journey in the decision before paying for an aft view. A side room near your preferred bank can provide a more comfortable daily routine when walking stamina or repeated theater and spa visits matter more than the balcony’s orientation.
Deck 8: standard verandas and forward Horizon Suites
Deck 8 mixes inside, Ocean View, veranda, and suite choices, so it provides useful comparisons without moving directly beside the resort decks. Rooms 8107 and 8108 are forward Horizon Suites, while 8257 is a port-side Deluxe Veranda at an angled section near the aft bank.
Use the numbered outline and category legend together, and inspect the exact room’s neighbors before ranking one area above another. Our best cabins guide compares those specific choices by outdoor use, living space, and the routes you will repeat.
Deck 9: cabins and the card-room landmark
The Card Room is beside the aft public bank on Deck 9, with accommodation across the rest of the main footprint. It provides a handy indoor meeting landmark when your group wants a game or a nearby public place without heading to the lower entertainment decks.
For a room search, compare a selected Deck 9 number with cabins on the levels above and below. That avoids a direct pool or restaurant neighbor while leaving connecting doors, nearby service activity, and the actual corridor distance to check separately.
Deck 10: cabins around the lower library level
The library sits by the aft bank on Deck 10 and continues onto Deck 11, making this a useful place to browse or pause between destinations. Bring your own preferred reading too, since the available books and seats cannot be guaranteed for a particular sailing.
Deck 10 accommodation offers another comparison for travelers who want cabins overhead rather than the pool facilities. Check the exact room outline and category before assuming that the higher level changes its indoor area or outdoor design.
Deck 11: AquaClass and the spa’s lower rooms
Deck 11 combines accommodation with the upper library level and forward spa treatment and relaxation areas. The spa-related spaces within this deck are worth checking as well as the facilities above, particularly when the offered room is close to a treatment corridor or working doorway.
Deck 12’s overhead footprint changes between spa, fitness, Solarium, pools, and aft accommodation. Choose AquaClass for its actual benefits, then compare the room’s specific neighbors rather than expecting the whole wellness area to be equally suitable for sleep.
Deck 12: spa, Solarium, outdoor pools, and cabins
The spa and fitness facilities are forward, followed by the Solarium, with Spa Café on the port side alongside that covered-pool route. Use the forward bank for a wellness visit, and use the spa rules to distinguish the included Solarium from Persian Garden access or paid treatments before making a reservation.
The main outdoor pools sit farther aft in the central open area, while accommodation occupies portions of the forward and aft footprint. A pool day and a room on Deck 12 involve different parts of the level, so follow the actual number or venue sign rather than relying on the word resort.

Deck 14: Sky Lounge, children’s programming, and the buffet
Sky Observation Lounge is forward, with Camp at Sea just behind it on the port side near the forward bank. Use this end for scenic indoor viewing or a children’s session, and check the day’s program before bringing the family to a room used for a specific event.
Mast Grill and Mast Bar sit around the open pool overlook, while Oceanview Café, Il Secondo Bacio, and Oceanview Bar are aft. There is no passenger Deck 13, so aft Deck 12 rooms lie directly below this buffet area rather than beneath an intervening cabin deck.
Deck 15: public Sunset Park is aft, new cabins are forward
Sunset Park, its café, and the expanded Sunset Bar occupy the stern on Deck 15, reached by the aft bank. Come here for outdoor sea views, lawn games, or a listed movie or music session, with an indoor alternative ready when the wind or weather makes sitting outside uncomfortable.
The new high forward accommodation is a separate area reached through the forward bank, with the Retreat Sundeck above it. Choose the correct bank on a lower connecting deck first, because the forward cabin area and aft park do not form one ordinary continuous public corridor.

Deck 16: the forward Retreat Sundeck
The Retreat Sundeck is at the forward top of the ship, with a hot tub, bar, loungers, and shaded seating, plus an accessible elevator shown on the plan. It is an eligible suite facility, so choose Sunset Park or the ordinary pool areas for public outdoor relaxation when your booking does not include entry.
For a mobility need, confirm the full room-to-sundeck route and the applicable access arrangements with the ship’s team. A lift symbol establishes a planned route but does not replace checking the equipment, assistance, and transfer needs of the individual traveler.
Make three daily routes familiar and leave the rest flexible
Practice room-to-breakfast, room-to-dinner, and room-to-theater routes once, choosing the bank before changing levels. Keep a nearby meeting landmark for your group and agree where to reconnect if a show, club session, or restaurant plan separates you.
Use our first-day tips to fit those checks around meals and reservations rather than touring every deck at once. The useful result is a comfortable daily route and a clear next destination, with enough flexibility to change plans when the weather or program changes.
How this guide was researched
We compared the renewed ship’s numbered deck plans with its current room, restaurant, activity and service descriptions. Recommendations distinguish actual room positions, included benefits and paid choices; menus, performances and operating details follow the sailing.
