Majestic Princess Food and Dining: Every Venue Explained
On Majestic Princess, use the main dining rooms as your dinner base, keep the buffet and café flexible, and buy a specialty meal for the food you actually want.
Start with Sabatini’s if handmade pasta appeals, Crown Grill for a steak night, or The Catch by Rudi for seafood, while keeping enough appetite for the included meals.
Short version
Keep main dining as the dinner base, use International Café and the buffet between plans, and distinguish included Deck 16 Alfredo’s Slice from paid Deck 6 Alfredo’s Pizzeria. Choose steak, pasta or seafood because the meal appeals; compare current package benefits and delivery fees before spending.
Choose your dinner time before your specialty night
Symphony is near the Piazza on Deck 5, Concerto is central on Deck 6, and Allegro is aft on Deck 6. They follow the main dining program, so their names do not mean three unrelated cuisines you need to book separately.
Choose traditional, flexible or walk-in dining according to the options available for your sailing. Check the assigned or reserved room in the app before setting off, especially if your group is meeting from different cabin areas.
Read the night’s menu before replacing dinner with a paid restaurant. An appealing included meal can be a better choice than a specialty booking made simply because you assume every night in main dining is identical.
For Allegro, use the aft elevator bank or go aft on Deck 7 before coming down. The galley separates it from the central Deck 6 dining area, so a straight walk through that level is not the useful route.
Our Majestic deck guide helps with that first-evening walk. Allow time to get there rather than trying to solve the route when everyone is already hungry.

Use Reserve Dining if your room qualifies
Reserve Collection Dining is for eligible Reserve Collection Mini-Suite and full-suite guests. An ordinary Mini-Suite, a dining package or a friend with an eligible room does not give you the same access.
The dedicated main-room area offers expedited seating without reservations, dedicated staff and additional menu choices. Dinner runs nightly, with breakfast and lunch on sea days according to the published service schedule.
Use the benefit for relaxed timing when that flexibility is why you booked the room. You do not need to buy a specialty meal every evening to get a comfortable dinner out of the cabin upgrade.
If you are comparing rooms partly for this benefit, our Majestic cabin choices guide separates Reserve Mini-Suites from ordinary ones. Check the booked category before planning to bring the whole group through the Reserve entrance.
Make the buffet work around the day
World Fresh Marketplace is aft on Deck 16, with The Bistro and The Bakery within the broader food area. Use it for a convenient breakfast before an excursion or a lunch where everyone wants something different.
Walk through the serving area before committing to the first counter. That gives you a chance to spot a changing regional dish or a lighter plate without discovering it after you have already filled up.
Individual stations can close while other parts remain open. Check the day’s hours rather than assuming the entire buffet selection lasts from breakfast until bedtime.
After a late port return, compare buffet service with the remaining main-room options before ordering a paid delivery. A flexible included meal can be easier than trying to keep a reservation that no longer fits the afternoon.

Keep International Café in mind between meals
International Café is in the Deck 5 Piazza and is advertised as open 24 hours. Its pastries, sandwiches, salads and small bites are useful when your appetite does not match a full restaurant meal.
Try a croissant for a quick breakfast or a sandwich when lunch needs to fit between activities. Choose what is in the food case that day rather than expecting a fixed deli menu from an older sailing.
Specialty coffee and tea have their own pricing or beverage-package treatment. An included pastry does not make the latte beside it free, so check the order before turning a small snack into an unplanned daily expense.
Afternoon tea is a scheduled service with sandwiches, cakes and tea, rather than another permanent venue to visit at any time. Look for the day’s room and time if that sounds more appealing than another buffet stop.
Know which Alfredo’s you are approaching
Alfredo’s Slice is the included pizza counter on Deck 16, while Alfredo’s Pizzeria is the sit-down restaurant on Deck 6 with a charge. Both are on Majestic, so replacing the former Chopsticks counter with Slice did not remove the seated pizzeria.
Use Slice for an easy pool lunch and eat the pizza while it is hot. A changing topping or a simple cheese slice can be enough when the afternoon matters more than sitting down for another meal.
Choose the Deck 6 Alfredo’s Pizzeria when you want an individual pizza made to order and time at a table. Start with a Margherita if tomato, mozzarella and basil are your preferred combination, then compare the available toppings on your menu.
The current published casual-meal price is $14.99 for adults or $7.49 for children ages 3 through 11, plus service charge, with à la carte choices also available. Check how your package’s casual meal applies before ordering separately charged extras.

Use the pool counters for a short lunch
Salty Dog Cafe on Deck 16 is the burger-and-fries option, while Swirls provides soft-serve cones. They are convenient around the main pool and save you from moving the whole group to a seated restaurant for a small appetite.
Order a burger when that is what you want, or choose pizza from Slice rather than taking both automatically. A lighter lunch leaves more room to enjoy dinner, particularly on a night you have paid for a specialty meal.
Soft serve is the simple included treat, but specialty drinks and other priced products need their own check. Watch the posted hours so that a late swim does not leave a child expecting a counter that has already closed.
Pick Crown Grill for the steak you want
Crown Grill is on Deck 7 and suits an evening built around steakhouse food. Compare the 7-ounce filet mignon with the larger cuts on your sailing’s menu instead of choosing a restaurant solely because it counts as a package meal.
A 36-ounce bone-in rib-eye is highlighted as a sharing option, while premium choices and surf-and-turf additions can have supplements. Read the menu before assuming a cover or dining benefit pays for every size and combination.
The current Crown Grill menu page lists a $55 adult cover and $27.50 for children ages 3 through 11 on Majestic. With the published 20% dining service charge, those benchmarks become $66 and $33 before drinks or other additions.
Make the reservation early if a particular anniversary evening matters. For a casual steak night, keep some flexibility around port returns and the entertainment you want afterward.
Choose Sabatini’s for a slower Italian meal
Sabatini’s is on Deck 5 and is the choice for fresh pasta and an Italian dinner rather than a quick pizza. Look for the arancini, compare the pasta preparations, and save room for the tableside tiramisu if those are dishes you enjoy.
Use the current menu to choose a few courses that appeal instead of treating every available course as something you must finish. A slower evening works better when you have not booked a tightly timed show immediately afterward.
Its published cover matches Crown Grill’s $55 adult and $27.50 child benchmark, with service charge added. The booking and onboard menu control the price and any special-format dinner or supplement.
If a wine-focused dinner appears, check its separate terms before assuming your ordinary restaurant reservation includes it. Buying an Italian dinner and buying a hosted food-and-wine experience are different choices.

Add seafood or pub food when it fits
The Catch by Rudi is on Deck 7 and is the seafood-focused specialty option. Choose it because your group wants a seafood dinner, then compare the sailing’s menu and cover with Crown Grill or the included main-room choices.
Ocean Terrace Sushi is also on Deck 7 and can suit a smaller Japanese-style meal. Check the selected items, casual-meal treatment and opening hours before assuming it works like a full specialty dinner reservation.
O’Malley’s Irish Pub is on Deck 5, with food, drinks and entertainment. Try it when a pub evening or a Dubliner Burger sounds more appealing than another formal restaurant plan, while keeping food and drinks separate in the budget.
Chef’s Table Lumiere is a hosted multi-course experience associated with the aft Allegro area. Reserve it for a celebration where the meal itself is the event, and ask about availability rather than assuming the package includes it.
Crab Shack is an occasional seafood service rather than a permanent daily restaurant. Wait for the offered date and menu before making it a reason to skip a dinner you already like.
Compare a package with meals you will use
For new Majestic package purchases, Plus currently costs $70 per person per day and Premier $105 before the four-day pre-cruise cutoff. Purchases within four days of departure or onboard cost $75 and $110 respectively.
Princess honors packages purchased for 2026 sailings before October 13, 2026 as purchased. Check your existing confirmation and the upgrade quote before replacing an older package.
Plus includes four casual meals per guest per voyage, while Premier includes unlimited casual and specialty meals under the eligible terms. Those are per-voyage casual credits with Plus, not four every day.
At the current new-purchase prices, the Premier upgrade from Plus costs $245 per person for a seven-day cruise. Compare the specialty meals, drink differences, internet devices and other benefits you would actually use before paying that amount just for an extra restaurant night.
Read the current package terms for your purchase and voyage. Unused dining benefits are not refundable or transferable, and reservation availability still matters.
Use delivery for convenience, with a price check
Without an applicable waiver, OceanNow has a one-time $14.99 access fee per guest per voyage, while phone room service has a $5 delivery fee per room order. Current Plus and Premier waive those delivery fees, but chargeable food and drinks can still cost extra.
OceanNow sends app orders to eligible locations, while phone room service is cabin delivery. Use the option that fits a quiet morning, a tired child or a pool break after checking the selected item’s price and the estimated delivery time.
Contact Princess in advance for a serious dietary need, then speak with the dining team after boarding. At a buffet or counter, ask specifically about the preparation and cross-contact rather than relying on the main-room conversation to cover every order.
Our Majestic planning tips help fit meals around the rest of the day. Keep one evening flexible so an appealing menu, delayed port return or unexpected restaurant opening can guide the choice.
