Costa Toscana Dining: Included Food & Specialty Choices

Build your Costa Toscana meal plan around the included restaurants, then choose one paid experience because its food or format appeals to you.

Keep the assigned dinner as your first-night plan, then reserve Archipelago for a fixed tasting experience, Teppanyaki for tableside cooking or pizza for a simpler paid evening.

Short version

Keep the included dinner assignment and La Sagra buffet as your everyday plan, with Il Vigneto included rather than a paid wine restaurant. Choose Archipelago’s fixed tasting or a specific specialty meal deliberately; Bellavista, family restaurants and club benefits retain their own eligibility, and paid meals need the sailing’s complete quote.

Start with your included dinner assignment

Keep the main dining room and table arrangement listed for your booking as your first-night plan. If you want a change, speak with the dining team before dinner rather than arriving at another room and hoping it has a place.

Toscana’s included table-service lineup covers L’Oliveto, La Maremma, Le Anfore, L’Argentario and Il Vigneto. They offer different settings and meal formats, while the actual service hours and your eligibility still decide where you can eat that day.

Look for the included Destination Dish at dinner if you’d enjoy something inspired by the places on your route. It’s a way to try a chef-associated dish without booking a separate tasting experience.

Read any premium item and beverage charge separately. An included room can serve an included meal while also selling a marked gourmet upgrade or bottle of wine.

The Toscana restaurant lineup helps you recognize the included venues. Start with your assigned room and use the day’s program for its meal periods rather than trying every dining-room door in turn.

Costa Toscana : Dinner

Choose L’Oliveto or La Maremma for a familiar routine

L’Oliveto occupies the aft restaurant section on Deck 5. It’s useful when an assigned seated dinner suits your group and you want a straightforward route from lower accommodation decks.

At breakfast, its described format combines buffet and à la carte choices, with seated service for lunch and dinner. Check whether those meal periods operate on your sailing before choosing it as your morning meeting place.

La Maremma sits at the stern on Deck 6, with buffet-style breakfast and lunch and seated dinner in its description. It’s another included restaurant, rather than a specialty charge you need to add to the budget.

Choose the actual dinner arrangement that helps your party eat together comfortably. A reserved table can be more convenient than searching for buffet seats after everyone returns from different excursions.

If you have a show at the forward theater, leave time for the walk along Deck 6 after dinner. The restaurant and theater share a level, but they’re at opposite ends of this long ship.

Le Anfore and L’Argentario need an eligibility check

Le Anfore and L’Argentario are on Deck 6 in the aft half of the public district. Both belong to the included main-restaurant group, with marked gourmet items and drinks priced separately.

L’Argentario’s current breakfast and lunch arrangement is reserved for Gold and Platinum C|Club members. Don’t plan a standard-cabin morning there simply because the restaurant is physically on your route.

For an eligible member, ask about the actual reserved arrangement and meal hours after boarding. That settles which room and table to use without making every member of a linked group automatically eligible.

Choose La Sagra for a flexible backup when you’d rather avoid a formal meal or your preferred dining room isn’t serving. Knowing one dependable alternative matters more than memorizing every table-service name.

Il Vigneto is an included restaurant

Il Vigneto Osteria is aft on Deck 7, close to the Infinity Terrace district. Its current restaurant description includes buffet-style breakfast and lunch plus dinner served at your reserved table.

Use it when it’s your assignment or the day’s program offers the appropriate service. The name and wine association don’t make the whole restaurant a paid specialty venue.

You can still encounter premium dishes and bottles with an extra charge. Check the menu marking instead of assuming everything served inside an included room is covered.

Keep Il Vigneto as an included option when its service fits your day. Follow your actual dining assignment and decide on optional purchases individually.

Costa Toscana : Kartell Cafe

La Sagra is the flexible buffet choice

La Sagra dei Sapori is the large included buffet on Deck 8, aft of the central entertainment and dining area. Its current lineup covers breakfast, lunch and dinner, with individual hours confirmed aboard.

Choose it for a quick breakfast before port or a flexible lunch when everyone returns at different times. Pasta and grill corners, vegetables, cheeses, fruit and pastries give you a useful mix without a specialty reservation.

Find a table before sending everyone through separate counters if keeping the group together matters. A quick meal becomes much less relaxing when half the party is looking for seats while the others wait with food.

For allergies, talk to staff about the specific dish and preparation instead of relying on a station’s broad label. A buffet offers choice, but shared equipment and utensils deserve attention.

Use our Toscana deck guide for the route to the buffet. Being on Deck 8 doesn’t mean you’re beside it; the specialty rooms are farther forward and the cabins are at the far aft end.

Squok Restaurant is for a specific family group

Squok Restaurant is an included buffet on Deck 16 near the aft youth area. It’s reserved for families with children ages 3 through 6, with breakfast, lunch and dinner described in its venue information.

For an eligible young family, try it when combining a meal with time in the family district would make the day easier. Confirm the actual hours and access with the team before rearranging the assigned dinner plan.

Don’t add it to a general adult meal schedule or confuse it with the parent-accompanied Baby Area. A family restaurant, a play space and supervised club time are different services.

If your group includes older children or another cabin’s relatives, ask how the restaurant’s eligibility applies before promising a shared meal. Keep La Sagra or the assigned restaurant as the fallback everyone can understand.

Costa Toscana : Harbor Broadside

Archipelago deserves its own evening

Book Archipelago Edition I if a coordinated tasting experience sounds more appealing than ordering separate dishes. Its current Sea & Land format combines Bruno Barbieri, Hélène Darroze and Ángel León in one 12-course menu, lasting about two hours.

Each dish has a paired drink included in the experience. Ask for the complete quoted price and what those pairings involve before adding a separate beverage allowance.

Everyone starts together and receives the same menu. Entry is permitted only within 20 minutes of the scheduled time, so avoid placing an uncertain return from port immediately before the reservation.

It’s for guests 14 and older, and the fixed menu cannot be changed for allergies or intolerances. If either rule affects you, choose another dining experience rather than assuming the kitchen can adjust this one after boarding.

Photos and videos are not allowed during the experience. Put the phone away and enjoy it if that format suits you, or choose a different occasion meal if photographing each course is part of what you want.

The restaurant is forward on Deck 8, on the port side. Settle the reservation and route in advance so you can arrive without rushing through the public district.

Teppanyaki and Sushino offer different Japanese meals

Choose Teppanyaki on Deck 8 for the cooking-at-the-grill format. The described dishes include teriyaki salmon or beef fillet with oyster and mushroom sauce, served with fried rice and grilled vegetables.

Book it when your group would enjoy watching the preparation as part of dinner. It’s a paid reservation, so confirm the menu, children’s eligibility and complete charge instead of assuming a family room or drinks fare covers it.

Sushino at Costa is farther forward on Deck 8, offering nigiri, maki and sashimi in a bistro format. It’s the better comparison when you want sushi without the shared grill performance.

Sushino Lounge on Deck 7 is a separate aperitif setting with sushi and cocktails. Neither the lounge nor the bistro becomes included just because you’re visiting between main meals.

Use the Deck 8 map to distinguish the locations before choosing a dinner time. Two restaurants on the same level can still involve a substantial walk to the next event.

Costa Toscana : Quiet Reading

Choose pizza or the pub for a simpler paid meal

Pummid’Oro on Deck 8 is the pizzeria, with traditional and gourmet choices in a lively setting. Choose it when pizza is what your group wants rather than trying to turn every specialty reservation into a formal occasion.

For an eligible pizza benefit, choose from the invited classic-pizza menu and keep gourmet pizzas, starters, desserts and drinks separate. The useful saving is the meal your benefit actually covers, rather than everything sold at the table.

Carlsberg Club & Bistro is farther aft on Deck 7, combining burgers, grilled meat and live rock music. It can suit a casual paid evening, especially if you want to stay for the atmosphere after eating.

Check when the music starts if conversation is the main purpose of the meal. The same pub can be a different choice for dinner with friends and an evening built around a band.

Poolside food is convenient, with separate charges

The Salty Beach Street Food is on Deck 16 beside La Spiaggia. Its afternoon lineup includes burgers, hot dogs and fries, while the evening description adds stuffed focaccia and pastries.

Treat it as a paid convenience when leaving the pool area for the included buffet would interrupt the day. Check the current hours before planning a late snack around it.

KikiPoke on Deck 17 offers poke bowls, and Green Healthy Food forward on Deck 18 describes wraps, salmon rolls, salads and fruit. They’re additional purchases, not hidden included lunch stations.

Kebab Experience on Deck 8, gelato and Nutella-branded treats deserve the same check. Decide which snack you’d enjoy and pay its displayed price instead of relying on a general full-board description.

Food LAB on Deck 8 is a bookable cooking experience rather than another ordinary lunch room. Choose it if making and enjoying your own creations is the activity you want.

Costa Toscana : Recognizable Port

Bellavista access must be confirmed for your booking

Bellavista is forward on Deck 8 and serves the suite and eligible club arrangement. Ask what your suite fare confirms before planning breakfast, lunch or dinner there.

Platinum C|Club dining is a separate benefit with availability, maintained-status and booking conditions. Read the club rules and obtain confirmation for your exact cruise rather than assuming the privilege applies automatically to every length or fare.

Linked dining reservations don’t transfer the benefit to another cabin. If you’re traveling with friends who aren’t eligible, settle where you can eat together before making the restaurant central to your trip.

The same rules define certain complimentary specialty choices for qualifying members. A specified pizza, Salty Beach mix or port-day Archipelago benefit is a defined privilege; confirm the invited menu and allow for drinks and the service charge separately, using a purchased drinks package only where its rules apply.

Check the drinks and delivery separately

Use the current fare options to identify your actual beverage benefit, then check the chosen outlet. Infinity Bar’s current sunset-lounge description excludes drinks packages except My Drinks Plus.

That makes a scenic drink there a separate budget question for many guests. You can enjoy the view and choose whether to purchase something without changing your whole fare for one stop.

Specialty covers, item prices and room-service charges are tied to the sailing and ordering menu rather than one reliable public price list. Use the full quote, including drinks, service and supplements, to compare the meal you want with any package or member benefit.

Reserve one paid experience because its food or format appeals, then leave ordinary meals flexible around the ports. Our Toscana practical tips and Toscana activities guide help place that dinner around the rest of the day.

How this guide was researched

Restaurant locations, ordinary included meals, actual dish examples and restricted dining arrangements were compared with the Archipelago and club terms. The reservation or ordering menu sets specialty prices, drinks, supplements and delivery charges.
