Eurodam Dining Guide: Included and Specialty Restaurants
On Eurodam, let the Dining Room and included casual venues cover ordinary meals, then make Tamarind, Pinnacle Grill, or Canaletto the special evening you actually want.
Keep the Morimoto sushi counter and hosted pop-up separate, and check your Have It All allocation before paying for a meal that already has a credit attached.
Short version
Choose Tamarind for Pan-Asian flavors, Pinnacle Grill for a steakhouse occasion, and Canaletto for a relaxed Italian dinner beside Lido Market. Current dinner totals before separately charged items are $46.80 at Tamarind, $62.40 at Pinnacle, and $30 at Canaletto, including 20% service; the Dining Room, Lido, Dive-In, pizza, and core room service remain the everyday included foundation.
Keep one unhurried Dining Room evening in the plan
Eurodam’s Dining Room occupies the aft ends of Decks 2 and 3, with flexible Open Dining and classic fixed-seating arrangements. Choose the assignment that fits your normal evening, then check the actual entrance before heading aft for the first dinner.
Use it when your group wants to sit together, be served, and enjoy a meal without another restaurant purchase. Give the meal time to unfold instead of asking several courses to fit between two performances on opposite sides of the schedule.
The rotating menus can include seafood, meat, pasta, and vegetarian choices, with regional dishes varying by voyage. Read the day’s options before deciding a familiar cruise-menu photograph is the only meal worth trying.
For a dietary requirement, notify Holland America before sailing and speak with the dining team early. That continuity can make the main restaurant a useful regular choice, while a particular preparation still needs the staff’s confirmation.
Breakfast and some lunch service provide additional seated alternatives when offered. Use the actual hours in Navigator instead of assuming the main restaurant follows the buffet’s longer opening pattern.
Our deck guide helps choose the aft bank and upper or lower entrance. An easy route makes a relaxed meal easier to keep in the evening plan.

Lido Market fits the days when timing matters most
Lido Market is aft on Deck 9 and supplies the main casual breakfast, lunch, and dinner pattern. Use it after a late shore return, before an early show, or when the group wants different foods and a flexible meal length.
Walk the available stations before filling the first plate. You can build a lighter meal from salads and the changing hot selections without repeating the same familiar combination every visit.
Agree on a table or clear meeting point before everyone separates for food. If a traveler needs help carrying a plate or finding seating, handle that first rather than leaving them to solve both while the rest of the group is in line.
Check the actual food-service windows when returning from an outing. Access to a buffet room or its tables doesn’t mean every station is serving at the exact moment your excursion ends.
For dinner, choose Lido when flexibility matters more than a served occasion. The Dining Room remains worth trying on another night, so a casual first meal doesn’t need to settle the whole week’s food routine.
Dive-In is the easy poolside lunch
Dive-In is the included burger-and-hot-dog counter beside the covered Lido Pool on Deck 9. Choose it when you want a straightforward hot lunch near the water without another tour of the buffet.
A burger and fries can be enough of a meal before an active afternoon. Keep the portion sensible when a large specialty dinner is already the evening’s plan.
Check the day’s counter hours and pickup arrangement before committing to a tight break between activities. The pool remaining open doesn’t make the grill an all-evening restaurant.
For a group with different appetites, let some guests choose Dive-In and others use Lido, then meet at an agreed table. Eating together doesn’t require every person to order from the same counter.

New York Pizza & Deli gives you another included casual choice
New York Pizza & Deli is aft on Deck 9 near Sea View Pool. Its pizza, salad, and deli-style choices give you another way to eat casually without a specialty cover.
Choose the actual posted menu rather than expect every meal period or the identical selection offered on another Holland America class. A pizza-and-salad meal can suit a family afternoon or an informal evening better than another large buffet plate.
Check the weather and the nearby seating before deciding the entire meal needs to be outdoors. The convenient stern location is useful when conditions suit it, while indoor Lido provides the easier fallback when wind or rain turns.
Don’t count on a fixed late-night closing time from an old passenger report. Use Navigator for the counter and any other later food service operating on your sailing.
Tamarind is the first specialty reservation to compare
Tamarind is on Deck 11 near the midship elevator bank, with Pan-Asian cooking drawing on Southeast Asia, China, and Japan. Choose it when the flavors add more contrast to your week than another steak dinner or familiar pasta meal.
The current Tamarind menu previews a satay sampler and shrimp tempura, crispy duck or coconut-curry chicken, and a mango dessert. Use those examples to decide whether the cuisine appeals, then order from the menu available for your voyage.
Ask about the heat level before ordering for the whole table if some guests prefer milder food. Seafood, peanuts, sauces, and shared preparation also make a specific allergy discussion worthwhile before selecting the dishes.
The currently published dinner cover is $39 plus 20% service, or $46.80 before paid beverages and any supplements. Apply an eligible dining credit first and check the booking total instead of paying a second time for the standard meal.
Use the midship bank because the aft elevators don’t serve Deck 11, and leave an unhurried evening around the reservation. A meal chosen for its food and setting is easier to enjoy when it doesn’t compete with an immediate show departure.
Pinnacle Grill is the deliberate steakhouse evening
Pinnacle Grill sits on Deck 2 near the central public area. Choose it for a celebration or shared steakhouse night, particularly when the group wants the meal itself to feel different from an ordinary Dining Room dinner.
The current Pinnacle menu includes crab cakes, filet mignon, Dover sole, creamed spinach, and a chocolate soufflé among its advertised examples. Compare the fish and other non-steak choices too when not everyone at the table wants beef.
The published dinner price is $52 plus 20% service, giving a $62.40 total before paid drinks or marked extras. Check premium cuts, additional orders, and any special event terms separately rather than treat the ordinary cover as unlimited ordering.
Lunch can provide another format when offered, with its own price and menu. Reserve the evening when that is the occasion you want, and compare lunch if a shorter daytime meal fits the cruise better.
Smart casual table-service rules still apply, including the restriction on shorts and poolwear. Check your reservation details before leaving the cabin so the first part of the evening isn’t a return trip to change.

Canaletto is an Italian dinner within the Lido area
Canaletto occupies the port-side section at the front of Lido Market on Deck 9, providing a served Italian evening in a different format from the buffet beside it. Choose it for a relaxed pasta dinner, while keeping the specialty charge separate from the surrounding included food.
The current Canaletto menu previews burrata, veal-and-sage meatballs, shrimp-and-clam spaghetti, braised short rib, and tiramisu. Compare the available dishes with your group’s appetite instead of assuming everyone needs the same heavy main course.
Its published dinner cover is $25 plus 20% service, or $30 before drinks and marked supplements. It can be the least expensive of these three ordinary specialty evenings when the Italian menu is the meal you want.
Check the actual supplement beside a premium item before ordering. A familiar restaurant name and an existing dining credit don’t make every special dish part of the standard meal.
The location is convenient for guests who spend much of the day upstairs. Leave time to change and settle into the served meal rather than treat it as another buffet stop simply because the entrance is close.
Morimoto sushi is a counter meal, with the pop-up a separate event
Eurodam’s Morimoto by Sea sushi offering is adjacent to Tamarind on Deck 11, with a small preparation counter and surrounding seating. Choose it for a focused paid sushi meal instead of expecting Nieuw Amsterdam’s dedicated stand-alone Morimoto restaurant.
The advertised examples include a chef’s sushi selection, lobster or shrimp tempura rolls, spicy tuna, and the distinctive tuna pizza. Order according to the actual menu, item prices, and appetite of the group rather than buy every format because the chef’s name appears on it.
The hosted Morimoto pop-up is a separate event using an existing specialty space on selected nights. Compare its full menu and event fee with the smaller sushi order before deciding which experience you actually want.
Have It All’s ordinary restaurant credit doesn’t cover specialty events such as the Morimoto pop-up. A reservation in Tamarind or Pinnacle Grill therefore needs its event title checked, rather than assuming the physical room determines the credit.

Club Orange changes Dining Room access, not the venue list
On Eurodam, eligible Club Orange guests receive main Dining Room priority and an expanded breakfast-and-dinner menu. The ship doesn’t have the separate Club Orange restaurant found on Koningsdam, Nieuw Statendam, and Rotterdam.
Neptune and Pinnacle guests receive the applicable benefits, while other room types can purchase Club Orange under its terms. Compare those services with your actual dining habits instead of paying for a private restaurant that isn’t part of Eurodam’s arrangement.
Our best cabin guide separates the larger room from the dining and service benefits. A room upgrade is a different purchase from one selected specialty evening.
For a group split across different benefit levels, settle where everyone plans to eat together before choosing upgrades. Recurring meals with your companions can matter more than a restaurant privilege you’ll rarely use apart from them.
Have It All credits depend on length and restaurant
For eligible four- to nine-night cruises, the current package supplies one specialty night; ten- to twenty-night voyages supply two, and twenty-one nights or more supply three, with Grand Voyages excluded. On Eurodam, choose within the allocation among Pinnacle Grill, Canaletto, and Tamarind.
The two-night pattern pairs the steakhouse choice with Canaletto or Tamarind, while the three-night Eurodam pattern includes one visit to each of those three venues. Read your actual confirmation when a special promotion supplies a different benefit.
The package terms exclude specialty events such as Morimoto by Sea and Cellar Master Dinner. Reserve the credited restaurant evening you want first, then decide whether another paid meal still adds enough value.
Drinks remain under their own package or item rules. Signature Beverage benefits don’t automatically cover minibar or room-service purchases, so a meal credit and a delivered drink need separate checks.

Crow’s Nest and room service keep smaller meals easy
Crow’s Nest Café on Deck 11 offers a pastry-and-beverage stop with an observation-lounge setting. Check the actual food and drink labels, particularly specialty coffee or alcohol, rather than assume the whole café menu shares one inclusion rule.
Eurodam’s core 24-hour room service is included, giving you a useful in-cabin breakfast or later meal. Read the actual menu for premium food and paid beverages, since those extras are separate from ordinary delivery.
For an early excursion, leave enough time for breakfast to arrive and keep an open Lido option in mind. A relaxed cabin breakfast fits a sea day better than a narrow delivery window that determines whether you reach the gangway on time.
For most trips, let included meals do the everyday work and reserve one specialty evening with a clear purpose. Our Eurodam tips guide connects that food plan with scenic days, music, and the practical routes you will repeat.
How this guide was researched
Eurodam’s current venue roster, advertised dish previews, service-inclusive cover prices, complimentary room service and Have It All terms were checked. The Morimoto sushi counter was distinguished from the separate pop-up event and another ship’s full restaurant, and restaurant routes were visually checked on the official plan.
